Dandy Opens USD 56.6M Share Offering Ahead of QSE Listing

Dandy Opens USD 56.6M Share Offering Ahead of QSE Listing

Dandy Limited, the food and beverage manufacturer, has secured regulatory approval to offer 40% of its share capital to investors. This sets the stage for its expected listing on the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) Main Market.

The public subscription will run from October 7 to October 20, 2026, with the company offering 41.2 million shares at QAR 5 each. Including offering and listing fees, subscribers will pay QAR 5.01 per share.

Why You Should Care

Dandy’s offering will increase the portion of the company available to public investors to 40%, while its founding shareholder will retain a 60% stake following completion.

The offering also gives investors access to a company preparing to join Qatar’s Main Market. The oversubscribed institutional bookbuilding process indicates demand from institutional investors ahead of the public subscription.

The Details

The Qatar Financial Markets Authority approved the offering, according to a statement published on the Qatar Stock Exchange website.

Of the 41.2 million shares being offered, 12.36 million shares, or 30% of the offer, have been allocated to institutional investors. The remaining 28.84 million shares, representing 70%, will be available to Qatari individual investors and entities incorporated in Qatar.

The offer price was established through a bookbuilding process involving 19 institutional investors. The process was oversubscribed, and the company set the offer price at QAR 5 per share.

Subscribers will pay an additional QAR 0.01 per share in offering and listing fees, bringing the total subscription price to QAR 5.01. Based on the offer price, the total offering amounts to USD 56.6 million (QAR 206.4 million), including the applicable fees.

Following the offering, Dandy expects its shares to begin trading on the QSE Main Market. The founding shareholder’s remaining 60% stake will be subject to the applicable lock-up requirements under QFMA’s Offering and Listing Rules.

The Ripple

The offering will increase Dandy’s public float to 40% once the transaction is completed. The allocation also creates a distinction between institutional participation and the broader public subscription, with most of the offered shares reserved for Qatari individual investors and locally incorporated entities.

For the Qatar Stock Exchange, Dandy’s expected admission to the Main Market will add another company to the pool of publicly traded securities available to investors.

What to Watch

The immediate milestones are the October 7 opening of the subscription period and its October 20 closing date. Investors will also be watching for the completion of the offering and the subsequent start of trading on the QSE Main Market.

The next stage will provide a clearer picture of the final investor distribution and how Dandy’s shares enter the public market after listing.
