Seven startups have advanced through a dedicated pitching session organized by Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy and the venture capital fund, Oraseya Capital. Thus, creating a direct pathway to potential funding, mentorship, and growth support.
The collaboration gives seven Dubai-based technology companies access to investor feedback and potential funding. This is through Oraseya Capital’s USD 136.14 million (AED 500M) technology fund and SANDBOX Investment Program.
Why You Should Care
The session creates a direct route for early-stage technology companies to engage with an investor and understand what is needed to progress toward potential funding. For the seven participating startups, the process combines investor access with feedback, mentorship, and support designed to help them prepare for growth.
“We are focused on providing practical and effective pathways that enable technology startups to connect directly with potential investors and access capital and expertise that can support their growth and expansion,”
Saeed Al Gergawi, Vice President of Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy
It also expands the channels available to Dubai’s technology startups as they seek capital and expertise to develop their businesses and enter new markets.
The Details
The pitching session brought together Arakan, Duno, YOUNEA, Riayatech, Avelin, SENSI, and Cogniver. Each startup presented its business models, technology solutions, and growth plans to Oraseya Capital’s investment team and its SANDBOX Investment Program.
Arakan provides digital tools for compliance and corporate requirements, while Duno develops operational intelligence technology to help lenders assess SMEs. YOUNEA enables businesses to deploy branded AI agents across voice, chat, and WhatsApp.
Riayatech develops HealthTech solutions focused on healthcare operations and patient journeys. Avelin provides sovereign AI through cloud, on-premises, and air-gapped deployment. SENSI is developing digital scent and sensory technology through its “Internet of Fragrances” concept. Meanwhile, Cogniver uses autonomous AI agents to automate organizational workflows and business processes.
Following the pitches, the startups received feedback on requirements for the next stages of Oraseya Capital’s evaluation process. Several companies subsequently progressed to the next stage, where they could potentially access the SANDBOX Investment Program.
Oraseya Capital manages an AED 500 million (approx. USD 136M) fund targeting technology startups from pre-seed through Series B. Its SANDBOX program offers potential investments ranging from approximately USD 150 thousand (AED 550K) to USD 3 million (AED 11M). This is alongside mentorship, investment readiness support, and access to a broader startup ecosystem.
The Ripple
The initiative extends beyond the seven companies involved. For startups, the model links fundraising with investor feedback and business development support. For Dubai’s wider technology ecosystem, it adds another channel through which companies can connect with capital and expertise as they develop and expand.
The session also supports Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy’s broader focus on connecting technology companies with investors while attracting businesses and investment to the emirate.
What to Watch
The next signal will be how many of the seven startups progress through Oraseya Capital’s evaluation process and whether any secure investment through the SANDBOX program. The outcome could provide a clearer view of how investor access and structured support translate into funding and expansion opportunities for Dubai-based technology startups.
