The Details

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Egyptian Expatriates and the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development signed a cooperation protocol with Delta Egypt Payments. This is the company behind the Sahl application in which the National Investment Bank is a shareholder.

The agreement establishes an executive framework for providing electronic payment services for financial obligations and utility bills. It also includes a range of other services for Egyptians living abroad. Additionally, the services will be available through the Sahl application and the company’s digital platform with high standards of efficiency and security.

This part of Egypt’s broader efforts to advance digital transformation. This includes leveraging modern technology to deliver services that are more efficient for citizens both inside and outside Egypt.
