Enhance Raises USD 18.2M to Accelerate US Expansion of Personal Training Operating System

Enhance, a GCC-based personal training operating system, raised USD 18.2 million through a combination of equity and venture debt. The round includes equity investment from Global Ventures and venture debt from Stride Ventures. The new capital will support Enhance’s expansion in the United States.

Why You Should Care

Enhance is targeting a part of the fitness industry that remains relatively fragmented from an operational standpoint: personal training.

The company provides software for multi-site gym operators to manage personal training at scale. This is with a particular focus on high-volume, low-price (HVLP) gyms. Its platform intends to bring the operational side of PT into a more structured system, from trainer management to session bookings.

The US expansion is significant for a GCC-founded software company. The company claims its platform is now present in more than 700 clubs globally. This includes major US gym chains, making the market an increasingly important part of its growth strategy.

The Details

Founded in Dubai by Tarek Mounir in 2018, Enhance is an operating system for personal training (PT). It was initially established as a service business before evolving into a SaaS platform for multi-site gym operators.

Looking ahead, with the capital, it aims to accelerate Enhance’s expansion in the United States.  In the US, Enhance’s software is used across clubs operated by Crunch Fitness, In-Shape Family Fitness, UFC Gym, and PureGym USA. The company entered the US market in January 2025 and is now using the new financing to accelerate its expansion there.

“We are becoming the global operating system for Personal Training, amid the popularity in the United States – the world’s largest gym market – of our GCC-built SaaS platform that redefines how PT services are delivered and managed, ”

Tarek Mounir, Founder and CEO of Enhance

In the GCC, GymNation is Enhance’s anchor partner, with the company managing its PT operations across locations in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain. Saudi Arabia is also identified as Enhance’s fastest-growing market outside the US, while the company operates in Qatar as well.

Enhance is also incorporating AI into its platform. The company says AI is used to accelerate the creation and automation of PT programs, while trainers remain responsible for the relationship with gym members.

The Ripple

Enhance’s expansion comes as fitness operators look at personal training as a source of revenue that can sit alongside traditional gym memberships.

For the GCC startup ecosystem, the US rollout offers a different signal. Rather than building solely around regional demand, Enhance is taking a software model developed in the GCC into one of the world’s largest and most established gym markets.

Enhance is targeting a role beyond software provision, with the company also pursuing partnerships with US gym groups that want their PT operations managed end-to-end.

The GCC remains part of that growth story. Enhance says changing consumer attitudes toward fitness and health have increased demand for more structured guidance around areas such as strength, recovery, energy, and long-term health. In some GCC markets, it says demand is growing faster than the supply of qualified personal trainers.

What to Watch

The next phase will show whether Enhance can turn its existing US presence into repeatable expansion across more gym operators and locations.

The key signal will be how effectively its platform scales across the US while maintaining adoption among trainers and gym operators. Its progress in the market will also test whether a software model developed in the GCC can become a broader operating standard for personal training globally.
