Saudi Makes Vaccination Mandatory for Office-Goers

As the global vaccination race intensifies the number 1 vaccinator in the MENA region has announced that vaccines are mandatory for employees to return to offices. The Saudi government took the decision to facilitate and accelerate herd immunity and reduce the number of cases.

While some companies are still allowing staff to work from home, others are formulating plans in response to the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development’s announcement earlier this week that jabs would be mandatory for in-person attendance at workplaces in the public, private and nonprofit sectors.

Many believe that the vaccination policy would make the workplace safer.

The Ministry called on all citizens and residents to register for the COVID-19 vaccine via the Sehhaty app, stressing the need to adhere to all health measures.

There have been 7085 COVID-related deaths in the Kingdom since the outbreak of the virus.
