UAE-founded real estate and mortgage technology company Huspy is entering Italy with a planned USD 86 million (AED 315M) investment. This is alongside the acquisition of Italian credit intermediary Integra Finance.
The deal marks Huspy’s entry into Italy as the company expands its mortgage and real estate operations across Europe and the MENA region.
Why You Should Care
The move gives Huspy an established foothold in Italy’s mortgage and credit intermediation market as it expands its technology-led model beyond the UAE, Spain and Saudi Arabia. For the company, the acquisition provides an existing advisor network and financial partnerships that it can combine with its AI-native technology and operating model.
The investment also signals that Huspy is using acquisitions as part of its international expansion strategy, rather than relying solely on organic growth.
The Details
Founded by Jad Antoun and Khalid Ashmawy, Husky is a real estate technology company. It develops AI-native technology and services to deliver excellence throughout the home-buying and financing process. It connects buyers and sellers, real estate agents and mortgage brokers.
Founded in 2020, Integra Finance is a credit intermediation company. It focuses on mortgages, loans, financing and credit services for individuals, professionals and businesses.
“By combining this expertise and market presence with our AI-native technology and systems, we aim to accelerate Integra’s growth and help transform the way real estate agents, credit advisors and clients experience the process of buying, selling and financing a home,” said Jad Antoun, Co-founder and CEO of Huspy.
Huspy said it plans to use Integra Finance as the starting point for its Italian expansion. Thus, combining the company’s local network and expertise with its own technology and operating systems.
Looking ahead, the company plans to focus on developing its Italian business through 2026 and 202. Meanwhile, it also seeks to expand into additional European and MENA markets and strengthen its existing operations in Spain, the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
The USD 86 million (AED 315M) figure refers to Huspy’s planned investment in Italy, not the disclosed purchase price of Integra Finance. The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
The Ripple
The expansion brings Huspy into another European market where real estate professionals and financial intermediaries remain central to the home buying process. For Integra Finance, the transaction adds access to Huspy’s technology, international operations and investment capacity.
It also extends Huspy’s acquisition strategy across multiple markets, with local businesses providing established teams and networks that can be integrated into its broader platform.
What to Watch
The key next step will be how Huspy deploys its planned investment across Italy. Its ability to integrate Integra Finance while expanding its advisor network and technology offering will shape the pace of its Italian growth.
The company’s wider expansion plans across Europe and MENA will also show whether the acquisition-led model can support Huspy’s push to build a broader regional and international real estate and mortgage platform.
