  • CleanMob raised USD 1.3M to enhance smart fleet management solutions using software-based technology for thermal, hybrid, and electric vehicles.
  • The startup aims to expand its presence in France, focusing on mid-to-large companies and 50,000 connected vehicles.
  • CleanMob’s solution uses virtual sensors, AI, and smartphone-based tech for energy monitoring, maintenance, and CO2 optimization in fleets.

CleanMob

What happened? CleanMob raised USD 1.3 million in a seed funding round. The round was led by BPI France, 212Founders by CDG Invest, MNF Ventures, Tremplin Capital, and four business angels.

What will they do with the funding? The startup aims to reinforce its mission to make fleet management smarter and more predictive. It will also enable them to continue their technical and commercial development in France.

In addition, it aims to become a go-to solution for next-gen automotive telematics with 50,000 connected vehicles. They also seek to target mid-sized and large companies while continuing research and development efforts.

Fleet Management

Who are they? Founded in 2021 by Moroccan brothers, Salah and Khalil Hajji, CleanMob is a company specializing in smart fleet management solutions. The startup offers fleet management solutions through virtual sensor technology. This technology combines signal processing, predictive AI, and physical law modeling.

The solution also integrates non-connected vehicles by using sensors on drivers’ smartphones. It monitors energy consumption, provides preventive maintenance, calculates CO2 emissions, and optimizes electric vehicle transition.

Some of their significant clients include Engie Home Services and Asten Santé.

Why is it different? It is a no-hardware, no-logistics fleet management solution compatible with thermal, hybrid, or electric vehicles. It also supports fleets transitioning to low emissions. Thus, since it’s entirely software- based it can be implemented quickly without any physical intervention on the vehicles.

This is a different approach over the traditional, often expensive and unreliable telematics boxes.
