Editorial Independence

We separate our news coverage decisions and all sources of revenue to uphold our journalistic integrity. WAYA may accept financial support for reporting on particular topics, which are labeled as “Paid Partnerships”. Our content team determines what those topics are and retains full editorial control of the resulting coverage.

Corrections and Updates to Policy/Procedure

We do our best to ensure the accuracy of the information we disseminate, but on occasion we may get something wrong. When this happens, we promptly issue a correction to the story, and in some cases, remove the content to replace it with the corrected version. Our stories are constantly developing, and as new information becomes available, we may alter parts of the original content.
