Professional.me

What happened? UAE-based HR technology company, Proffessional.me, secured USD 3.1 million in a seed funding round. The round was led by Raha Beach Ventures

Who are they? Founded by Ryan Adams, Mgean Adam and Matt Schmid in 2024, Proffessional.me is an HR tech startup. It is an AI powered platform aiming to transform how companies hire and manage top talent. Instead of traditional methods, the startup introduces tailored micro-LLMs, individually trained for both employers and professionals. These models are capable of understanding context and nuance in order to enable smarter, faster, and more human hiring decisions.

“We’re not digitizing résumés — we’re replacing them entirely. Every company and candidate gets a context-aware micro-LLM that understands what truly drives success, beyond titles and keywords,” said Ryan Adams, CEO of Professional.me.

Recruiting

What is next? With the newly acquired funding, it aims to expand its engineering team, strengthen data and research partnerships. In addition, it aims to scale its reach to employers across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Why does this matter? The platform aims to tackle a gap in recruitment which is a reliance on outdated resumes and job descriptions. The company claims that this traditional method often results in superficial matches and missed opportunities. Instead, it collects deeper structures to create predictive success profiles and expand the depth of recruiting through resumes.

“We’re rethinking hiring from the ground up — not by adding filters, but by restructuring how information is captured and understood. AI should make hiring smarter, more inclusive, and more human,” said Ryan Adams, CEO of Professional.me.
