TERN Group has raised USD 24 million in Series A funding  to scale its AI-powered healthcare workforce platform. The round was led by Series A led by UK-based Notion Capital, and UAE’s EQ2 Ventures. It also saw participation from RTP Global, LocalGlobe, Leo Capital, Presight Capital, and Tom Stafford, Co-Founder of DST Global. This brings its total funding to USD 33 million, after its Seed round last year.

With fresh funding, TERN will expand its AI platform and training and compliance infrastructure. It also aims to expand its operations in the GCC, Europe and the UK through deepening integrations with healthcare systems. The goal is to build the infrastructure of healthcare workforce management.

Healthcare

Founded in 2023 by Avinav Nigam and Krishna Ramkumar, TERN Group is an AI-powered global talent mobility platform for healthcare professionals. It  offers a full-stack solution for training, certifying, and deploying healthcare professionals from 13 countries. Furthermore, its Clinical AI Workforce platform reduces hiring timelines from up to a year to under 10 weeks, delivering faster recruitment, lower costs, and higher productivity.

The GCC is central to TERN’s strategy. Healthcare demand in the region, especially the UAE, is surging. By 2029, the UAE alone is expected to spend over USD 50 billion on healthcare. TERN is working with top hospitals and regulators to create a reliable talent pipeline, particularly for Indian nurses and care workers.

“Healthcare professionals from countries like India are world-class, but they are often constrained by slow, fragmented, and opaque recruitment systems. We are building the infrastructure that makes global healthcare careers faster, fairer, and fully transparent. The GCC, and particularly the UAE, is a critical region for us as healthcare demand continues to accelerate.”

Beyond recruitment, TERN’s AI system automates resume parsing, compliance, and candidate screening. Meanwhile, its human support team helps professionals with training, relocation, and cultural integration. By combining AI efficiency with human guidance, TERN aims to address one of the region’s biggest challenges: securing skilled healthcare talent to meet rising demand.
