UAE’s real estate developer, Arada signed an acquisition of a 75% stake in UK’s Regal, a residential-led mixed use developer.

This marks Arada’s entry into the UK and its second international expansion after expanding to Australia in 2024. Moreover, the acquisition of Refal, gives it an immediate presence in the London market.

As part of the transaction, Arada is also committing an initial USD 680 million (AED2.5B) of capital to acquire and invest in Regal, which will become Arada London. This acquisition aims to accelerate the delivery of Regal’s existing 10,000-unit residential pipeline over 11 projects, Additionally, it intends to more than triple this over the next three years.

The acquisition brings together complementary skill sets and expertise in the development of high quality, amenity-rich residential-led projects. This is due Arada’s expertise in delivering large-scale, complex mixed-use master plans. Additionally, the transaction is synergistic, creating opportunities to cross-sell residential products across both businesses’ sales platforms.
