Empower Semiconductor
US-based Empower Semiconductor raised over USD 140 million in Series D financing. The round was led by Fidelity Management & Research Company, Maverick Silicon, and CapitalG. Additionally, it saw participation from Atreides Management, Socratic Partners, Walden Catalyst Ventures, and Knollwood. Most significantly from MENA, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) also joined the round.
Up next, with the financing it aims to accelerate its growth in the AI space. It also aims to develop technology breakthroughs in how AI processors are powered.
