WideBot AI, an Arabic artificial intelligence company, officially launched WhatsApp Business Voice Calls through its WideBot AI Voice Agent.

The Arabic-speaking AI voice agent will be capable of understanding multiple dialects, responding in real time, and executing complex voice tasks. The agent is powered by WideBot’s AQL’s STT (Speech-to-Text) and TTS (Text-to-Speech). AQL GenAI is WideBot’s in-house Large Language Model (LLM),  a fully Arabic AI model tailored for government and enterprise applications across the Middle East.

“Our vision has always been clear — to make AI a natural part of every interaction between organizations and their customers. The launch of WhatsApp Business Voice Calls through our WideBot AI Voice Agent takes us one step closer to that vision, making every call smarter, faster, and more human,” said Eng. Mohamed Nabil, Co-founder and CEO of WideBot AI.

This milestone aims to enable governments and large enterprises to interact directly with citizens and customers through WhatsApp voice calls. WhatsApp was chosen because it is the most widely used communication channel in the region.

With the introduction of  AI-powered WhatsApp Business Voice Calls, governments can now deliver voice-based services securely and seamlessly without relying on traditional call center infrastructure. This is while ensuring full compliance with local data protection and privacy regulations.

For major organizations in banking, insurance, telecommunications, and healthcare, this will enable them to automate and manage high volumes of customer calls intelligently through the same platform.

Moreover, institutions will be able to automate end-to-end customer interactions. This includes a range of interactions from booking appointments and handling inquiries to managing orders or processing government transactions.

Founded initially in Cairo in  2016 by Mohamed Nabil, Mohamed Mostafa, and Saif Ahmed,  WideBot.ai is an Arabic artificial intelligence company specializing in enterprise and government solutions. It serves more than 350 clients in 12 countries, including the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah as well as the Egyptian Tax Portal.
