The initiative aligns with the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH), Emirates Drug Establishment (EDE), and the HELM cluster. All of which are founding partners of the new platform. Furthermore, they are all committed to  creating a high-functioning life sciences economy anchored in Abu Dhabi.  Additionally, all of them reinforce Abu Dhabi’s focus on precision medicine, biomanufacturing, and data-driven care.

The Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority (ECA), Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and Ultrahuman will reinforce the platform as anchor partners. Additionally, a total of 12 partners will collaborate with startups to explore investment opportunities and accelerate the introduction of transformative innovations to market.

“As a Founding Partner, EDE will work side-by-side with innovators to engage early with regulators, clarify evidence expectations and make use of collaborative pathways so safe, effective solutions reach patients faster,” said Dr. Shaikha Al Mazrouei, Director of Reference National Laboratory, Drug Department, Emirates Drug Establishment (EDE).

The launch builds on momentum from local life sciences startups like BioSapien, Ovasave, and Biotwin, which are already advancing oncology, fertility, and AI-driven medicine.

Hub71+ Life Sciences seeks to create shared value by linking investors, corporates, and startups. This ecosystem aims to accelerate innovation while boosting Abu Dhabi’s competitiveness in the regional life sciences market.
