Google opens applications for the 2026 edition of the Google for Startups Accelerator: Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey. It is a ten-week program designed for startups across the region. It focuses on Seed and Series A stage startups that are using technology in innovative ways to solve scalable needs in the market.
Each cohort includes 10-15 startups that come together to tackle technical challenges to help grow their businesses. This is through a combination of remote and in-person, 1-to-1, group learning sessions, and sprint projects.
Accelerator
The accelerator includes deep dives and workshops that focus on product design, customer acquisition, and leadership development for founders.
The accelerator’s eligibility criteria include:
- Startups demonstrating traction, ideally between Seed and Series A stag
- Building a scalable product or service with a significant total addressable market and defensible growth model
- Deeply technical, preferably leveraging technologies like machine learning and AI
- Commitment from CTO and/or technical roles to participate and engage in required program sessions
The benefits of the accelerator program include equity-free support for the duration of the program. It also includes dedicated mentoring from Google teams as well as access to Google’s network of industry experts. Additionally, it offers invitations to technical bootcamps whenever offered.
It will also grant early access to Google AI products and tools as relevant through Trusted Tester and EAP benefits. Moreover, eligible startups will receive product credits as well as support on company and product strategy. It will also provide hands-on experience with experts from Google on the startup’s tech challenges.
