MilkStraw
UAE-headquartered MilkStraw AI raised USD 2 million in a seed funding round. The round was led by VentureSouq, with participation from Ibtikar Fund and M Capital.
“Most cloud cost tools create more work for engineering teams. MilkStraw actually does the work for them. That’s a meaningful difference, and the retention numbers prove it.” Tammer Qaddumi, Co-Founder and General Partner at VentureSouq
Founded in the US in 2024 by Jawad Shreim, Ibraheem Tuffaha, and Anas Abdullah, MilkStraw AI is an artificial intelligence (AI) startup. It focuses on AI-powered cloud optimization. It builds software that seeks to reduce startups’ cloud infrastructure costs by executing optimizations directly. Additionally, it only charges when it celivers tangible savings. The startup’s customer base includes Thndr, Maqsam, Ziina, Beyond Limits, and Zero.
Cloud Infrastructure
Looking forward, with the funding, it aims to accelerate product expansion and operational scaling. Its upcoming feature launches include The Feed, Right Sizing, and an AI-driven conversational interface for managing cloud infrastructure. Additionally, it plans to deepen its footprint across the MENA region and expand into additional markets.
Additionally, it seeks to position itself as a core infrastructure layer. Moreover, it aims to enable startups to focus on building products rather than managing inefficient cloud spend. It seeks to use the capital to fund the resources needed to define the new standard for cloud management.
This funding comes 12 months after the startup raised USD 600 thousand in pre-seed funding in January 2025. This round was led by Flat6Labs with participation from Angel Spark and Beyond Capital.
