UAE’s A47 raised USD 2 million in pre-seed funding to accelerate the development of an AI-native news platform. The round was led by institutional and angel investors.

“This company is being built as a long-term media infrastructure company with the ambition to help shape how verified information is delivered,” said Shehab Gargash, Chairman & Co-Founder A47.

Co-founded by Ali Rizvi and Shehab Gargash, A47 is a Web3 AI‑native news platform .The startup claims that it is attempting to tackle the issue of fragmented feeds, misinformation, and algorithm-driven noise. To do so, it seeks to build a comprehensive, AI-enabled news source. It intends to prioritize clarity, accuracy, and relevance over engagement loops.

It aims to design the platform to deliver structured, fact-checked, continuously updated news. This is across business, geopolitics, technology, finance, sports, and culture.

The platform aims to give users the ability to tailor topics, depth, formats, and alerts. Moreover, it wants to create a platform that adapts to how individuals consume information. It will tailor its content based on whether consumers want real-time updates, deep context, summaries, or comparative perspectives.

The platform will combine autonomous AI agents, real-time data ingestion, multi-model orchestration, and embedded verification systems. Furthermore, these systems seek to continuously source, analyze, validate, and present information.

“We want to be the news infrastructure layer that publishers and creators can trust. We don’t replace editorial judgment. We help teams move faster with verified facts and content that stays on brand,” said Ali Rizvi, CEO and Co-Founder of A47 News.
