Saudi’s Routech Express Raises USD 1M to Scale Digital Shipping Platform
  • Saudi logistics startup Routech Express raised USD 1M pre-seed to scale operations, enhance its platform, and expand regionally beyond Saudi Arabia.
  • The company aggregates shipping prices, booking, payment, and tracking into one platform for businesses and consumers seeking faster, simpler logistics solutions.
  • Funding comes as e-commerce growth increases demand for flexible delivery, supporting Vision 2030 goals to digitise and modernise Saudi logistics infrastructure.

Routech Express

Saudi-based logistics startup Routech Express secured around USD 1 million (SAR 3.75M) in a pre-seed funding round. The round was led by Qewam Fund, with participation from a group of angel investors.

Founded in 2024 by Jehad Al-Dawood, Routech Express is a logistics shipping startup. The startup aims to tackle inefficiencies in delivery through offering a unified logistics experience. Its platform allows users to compare shipping rates, book deliveries, make payments, and track shipments in one place.

The solution targets both individuals and businesses managing multiple carriers. By consolidating services, the startup aims to reduce operational complexity and improve delivery visibility.

Looking ahead, the new capital will support the company’s expansion across Saudi Arabia and into regional markets. It will also accelerate the development of its digital platform and strengthen integrations with shipping partners. Additionally, it seeks to enhance product capabilities and expand service coverage. It will also support deeper technical integrations with logistics partners to improve reliability and speed.

The timing aligns with strong growth in Saudi Arabia’s e-commerce sector. Rising online sales are increasing demand for faster, more flexible, and transparent delivery options. The program supports innovation across priority sectors, including logistics, manufacturing, and mining. It also aligns with the Kingdom’s broader Vision 2030 strategy to digitise key industries.

As regional e-commerce scales, logistics technology is becoming a critical enabler. Startups that improve efficiency and transparency are likely to play a central role in the next growth phase.
