Just when it thought it would top the world in 2020 in terms of market value, Saudi Aramco had to make way for Apple by the end of December 24th trading. The American tech giant reached $2,243.7 billion, followed by Saudi Aramco with $1865.2 billion, and Microsoft came in third place with a market value of $1684.1 billion.
The fourth place went to Amazon with a market value of $1591.9 billion dollars, and in the fifth place Alphabet, which is the parent company of Google, with $1174.7 billion.
And Facebook ranked sixth with a value of $761.1 billion, followed by Tencent Holdings in seventh place with a value of $687.8 billion. Tesla climbed 157 places, reaching eighth, with a value of $627.3 billion.
The ninth place went to Alibaba, with a value of $600.6 billion, and the last place came to Berkshire Hathaway, with a value of $531.4 billion.
The total market valuation of the ten companies reached $11.77 trillion.
