Dubai-based artificial intelligence (AI) dubbing platform CAMB.AI has raised $4 million in an investment round, according to a company statement.
The round was led by early-stage venture capital firm Courtside Ventures, headquartered in New York. Participating in the seed funding round were TRTL Ventures, Blue Star Innovation Partners, Ikemori Ventures, and Eisaburo Maeda.
Established in 2022, the company aims to utilize the new capital to enhance its business operations.
CAMB.AI specializes in voice translation and video dubbing, offering technology capable of instantly dubbing content in over 100 languages, dialects, and accents while preserving the original tone and nuances.
Its solutions have found applications in the film and sports industries.
Having been part of the Dubai Future Accelerator cohort in 2023, CAMB.AI was honored as a Future 100 Company of the UAE.
