Egypt Education Platform (EEP) is preparing to take over the management of four existing schools in Riyadh starting September 2026. It is also developing two new schools in the Saudi capital set to open in September 2027.
In an interview with Asharq Business, CEO Ahmed Wahby, explains that the company aims to establish a strong foundation in Saudi Arabia. Additionally, they plan to use this step as an entry not only into Saudi Arabia but also into the neighboring Gulf countries and broader regional and international markets.

Regarding operations in Egypt, the CEO noted that the company’s strategy involves adding two to three schools annually, with a focus on expanding into various Egyptian governorates.
He added that EEP is preparing to open a school in Somabay in September 2026, in addition to four schools in Cairo and another in a new governorate.
Founded in 2018, Egypt Education Platform (EEP) aims to provide quality education programs in the Egyptian education sector. Furthermore it is backed by a group of regional and institutional investors including EFG Hermes, the Sovereign Fund of Egypt, and GEMS Education.
Additionally, it aims to offer a variety of education solutions encompassing the various needs of the market. Moreover, it aims to tailor these solutions to a broad spectrum of individuals and families. It operates in the Egyptian market under six verticals, including GEMS International Schools, Hayah Schools, Prime National Schools, Trillium and Petals preschools.
The education company is continuing its expansion efforts in the Egyptian education sector as well as expanding into the Gulf.
