What happened? Egypt-based Nowlun, the digital logistics platform that simplifies global freight in the MENA region raised USD 600K in its latest funding extension. The extension was led by Ingressive Capital.
This brings its total seed round at USD 2.3 million. Furthermore, this extension builds on the startup’s previous seed round. It was led by Nama Ventures and A15, with the participation of Sanabil 500 Global, and other angel investors.

What is next? With the new capital, Nowlun aims to accelerate the use of AI in logistics. It also aims to enhance its team so that it is able to handle more shipments with greater efficiency. In addition, it aims to equip its team with AI-driven insights across all areas of logistics.
It is also working on building a Logistics Assistant for ocean freight shippers in MENA and Africa. This Logistics Assistant will give freight shippers instant access to insights and recommendations. This is to simplify decisions, and reduce costs, aiming to make global trade smarter and more reliable across the region.
