Taager has officially expanded into Morocco, opening operations in Casablanca as part of its broader regional expansion across MENA. The move marks the Egyptian startup’s first step into North Africa after building its presence in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.

The expansion targets Morocco’s fast-developing e-commerce scene, where Taager aims to widen access to online selling for young, digital-first entrepreneurs.

Launched in 2019, Taager provides an end-to-end platform that allows individuals to start selling online without carrying inventory or paying upfront costs. The company manages sourcing, logistics, delivery, and payments, giving sellers a streamlined route into e-commerce.

“Morocco brings together a connected youth and a strong digital ecosystem,” said Abdelrahman Sherief, co-founder of Taager. He adds that the company’s goal is to lower the barriers that prevent young people from launching online businesses.

The Moroccan arm will be led by Salma Ammor, who brings experience in scaling digital ventures. She aims to focus on providing Moroccan youth a platform to accelerate their own businesses. .
