Fawry
Fawry, Egypt’s fintech giant, is now providing Apple Pay to its customers in collaboration with Banque Misr. With this, it aims to provide its customers with a safer, more secure and private way to pay. Furthemore, this helps customers avoid handing their payment card to someone else, touching physical buttons or exchanging cash.
Now, Customers can simply hold their iPhone or Apple Watch near a payment terminal to make a contactless payment. Every Apple Pay purchase is secure because it is authenticated with Face ID, Touch ID, or device passcode. Additionally, it is authenticated with a one-time unique dynamic security code.
Apple Pay
Customers can use Apple Pay on iPhone, iPad, and Mac for faster, easier purchases in apps or on the web with Safari. It removes the need to create accounts or re-enter shipping and billing details for every transaction.
Apple Pay makes it easier to pay for food and grocery deliveries, online shopping, transportation, and parking, among other things.
Security and privacy are central to Apple Pay. When customers use a debit or credit card, the actual card numbers are not stored on the device or Apple’s servers. Instead, Apple assigns a unique, encrypted Device Account Number, safely stored in the Secure Element. Moreover, Secure Element is an industry-standard, certified chip designed to store the payment information safely on the device.
Setting up Apple Pay is simple. On iPhone, open the Wallet app, tap “+,” and follow the steps to add the myfawry yellowcard. Once added to any Apple device, customers can start using Apple Pay instantly and keep enjoying all myfawry yellowcard rewards and benefits.
