At the Global Health Exhibition (GHE) in Riyadh, Goldtrack Ventures launched its new USD 250 million industrial biotechnology growth fund in Saudi Arabia.
The VC is structuring the fund and plans to file it with the Capital Market Authority (CMA) by late 2025. It expects to begin initial investments in 2026 to advance Saudi Arabia’s industrial biotechnology and innovation ecosystem.
The fund will focus on scaling biotechnology enterprises both locally and internationally. It aims to expand initially into Saudi Arabia and the wider MENA region. Additionally, it aims to catalyze collaborations that seek to translate scientific innovation into commercially scalable ventures.
Biotechnology
Its investment scope will include the red, green, white, yellow, grey, blue and golden sectors of biotechnology. This is with a focus on industrial applications, bio-based materials, agri-tech, and sustainable solutions aligned with national priorities.
