India Accelerator
India Accelerator (IA), a seed-stage accelerator from India, is taking its startup support beyond the domestic market. The firm has launched a USD 15 million fund to back Indian startups entering and scaling in Saudi Arabia. This move aims to leverage the growing innovation ecosystem in the Kingdom. It also supports the innovation goals of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
The accelerator is part of the nationwide technology development program (NTDP) through its “Empowering Accelerators” initiative. The program aims to support startups addressing sectors with high socio-economic impact. This includes Artificial Intelligence, Electric Mobility, PropTech, Sustainability, and DeepTech.
Saudi Market Expansion
IA plans to launch its first cohort of 8–10 high-potential startups in March 2026. It will open applications from December 8, 2025, to February 28, 2026. The accelerator seeks to provide mentorship, local market guidance, and access to regional investors to ensure startups scale efficiently.
Beyond the accelerator, IA is also venturing into early-stage investments through its joint venture, Finvolve, in partnership with the Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) and GIFT City fund. This dual approach combines acceleration programs with investment support, enabling founders to grow their businesses both regionally and globally.
India Accelerator’s Saudi initiative strengthens its long-term partnership with NTDP and sets the stage for broader GCC engagement. By bridging Indian founders with Saudi Arabia’s innovation ecosystem, the firm aims to create cross-border growth opportunities while contributing to regional economic transformation.
Bottom line: The program aims to connect Indian startups with Saudi Arabia’s growing innovation ecosystem, supporting regional growth and cross-border business opportunities.
