What happened? India’s Qoruz raised USD 500 thousand in a pre-Series A funding round led by The Chennai Angels.

This follows an earlier seed round of USD 540 thousand from Dexter Angels and the IIM Indore Alumni Fund.

It also plans to enhance its artificial intelligence (AI) stack. It also aims to broaden its reach into new market verticals. Most importantly, it aims to fuel its international expansion to the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

“This capital allows us to deepen that foundation and bring operational precision to a space that has long operated on instinct, ” said Praanesh Bhuvaneswar, co-founder and CEO.

Influencer Marketing

Who are they? Founded in 2014 by Praanesh Bhuvaneswar, Prabakaran B, Aditya Gurwara, and Priya Vivek, Qoruz operates as a creator intelligence and collaboration platform. Furthermore, it is an influencer marketing and intelligence platform that enables influencer discovery, and efficient influencer outreach.

“We’re not just building a platform, we’re building an ecosystem for the creator economy, where creators are central to how products are discovered, trusted, and bought. For this to scale meaningfully, it needs more than connections; it needs infrastructure,” said Praanesh Bhuvaneswar, co-founder and CEO.

How does it work? The startup’s technology positions influencer marketing as a structured marketing channel. This is instead of a guesswork-based effort by offering detailed metrics, discovery tools and performance benchmarking. Furthermore, Qoruz claims that this approach delivers more measurable business outcomes for brands seeking to partner with creators at scale.
