Lumi AI

What happened? Lumi AI secured USD 3.7 million in seed funding in a round led by AgFunder, a Silicon Valley venture capital firm. Additionally, there was participation from B2B SaaS investors Forum Ventures, Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth fund ADQ, Qora71, and angel investors.

What’s next? With the new funding, Lumi AI aims to grow its engineering and customer success teams and accelerate product development. The company aims to support its growing customer base with complex supply chain datasets.

Who are they? Lumi AI is a self-service data analytics and insights platform. It aims to transform how brands and retailers uncover value in their enterprise resource planning (ERP) data.

Supply Chains

Why does this matter? Despite billions being spent on business intelligence (BI) tools, companies with supply chains still face struggles with slow, manual analytics processes.

How does Lumi AI attempt to tackle this? Lumi AI’s platform aims to solve this by providing a chat module that functions as a personal data analyst. This will enable users to explore data, generate visuals, and extract tailored insights using plain language with no coding needed.  Moreover, the idea is to enable companies  to unlock hidden value and boost productivity.

How does the AI work? It is powered by a proprietary analytics engine and enterprise-grade controls. This allows it to go beyond simple text-to-SQL solutions, introducing a new category of multi-agent applications designed to streamline routine data tasks. Furthermore, it can handle a wide range of queries—from straightforward to complex, or even vague.

“We founded Lumi AI to break down the barriers between businesses and their data. With this funding, we’re accelerating our mission to help companies democratize access to intelligence and transform decision-making at scale.”

Ibrahim Ashqar, CEO and Co-Founder of Lumi AI
