What happened? Mumbai-based interior design startup, Flipspaces, raised USD 35 million. The round was led by Iron Pillar, Prudent Investment Managers and Synergy Capital. The fundraising process was exclusively run by BDA Partners. In addition, the round saw the startups’ early investor Carpediem make an exit.

What’s next? The startup plans to use the funding to accelerate expansion across India, the US, and the UAE. It also aims to enhance its tech platforms, pursue inorganic growth, and boost brand leadership.

The startup already has business in India and the US but plans to expand to the UAE. This is because the GCC country has positioned itself as a commercial real estate hub.

“At Flipspaces, we’re building a global, tech-led brand aimed at transforming the customer experience in commercial design and build. This funding validates our vision and sets us up to scale with speed and sustainability,” said Kunal Sharma, Founder and CEO. 

Who are they? The startup was founded in 2015 by Kunal Sharma, Ankur Muchhal, Vikash Anand, Mrinal Sharma, Prafful Sahu, and Ritesh Ranjan. Flipspaces is a tech commercial interior design and build startup offering an integrated, tech-driven solution for commercial interiors. It primarily targets SMEs because it is a prominent segment of the commercial design and build market
