What happened? Oman-based startup, ZabonEx, secured USD 100 thousand in a pre-seed investment round. The round was led by Future Fund Oman and ITHCA Group.

What is next? With the newly acquired funds, it aims to expand its smart predictive analytics platform to minimize food waste and enhance distribution efficiency.

“It will facilitate our efforts in both business development and product enhancement within Oman’s F&B ecosystem. We are dedicated to establishing a solid local presence before venturing into regional markets,” said Co-founder of ZabonEx Hatim Moosa.

Additionally, it aims to further develop ZabonEx’s core predictive engine and expand its technology teams. Furthermore, it seeks to form partnerships with local producers and retailers. It also aims to implement custom onboarding and analytics tools tailored to Oman’s F&B landscape.

Food and Beverage

Who are they? Founded by Hatim Moosa and Almuhannad al Balushi, ZabonEx is a startup that enables food & beverage businesses to predict their products distribution at customer level. Furthermore, it provides a B2B SaaS platform specifically designed for F&B producers, distributors, and retailers. The platform offers detailed, real-time demand forecasts to empower businesses to make informed decisions regarding inventory management, production, and logistics.

“We enable these businesses to make more informed decisions by providing granular demand forecasts, which ultimately enhance margins and reduce their environmental impact,” said ​​Co-founder of ZabonEx Almuhannad al Balushi.
