What happened? Qatar-based logistics startup, ShipBee, secured USD 235 thousand (QAR 855K) in a pre-seed funding round. The round was led by GrowthX, two angel investors, and USD 41 thousand (QAR 150K) in founder contributions.
Who are they? Founded in March 2024 by Tamer Raafat and Amer Azani, ShipBee is an AI powered logistics startup. The startup offers a unified platform for both local and international logistics. Furthermore, it includes a marketplace, user and driver apps, and SaaS solutions for businesses managing shipping operations. Registered in Qatar Free Zones, the startup seeks to transform logistics in the GCC and MENA region.
Ultimately, the startup aims to build an AI-powered digital logistics ecosystem to streamline shipping and delivery for business and consumers.
The startup was incubated by the mobility incubator of the Qatar Development Bank and the Digital Incubation Center.
