Salla, Saudi Arabia e-commerce platform entered into an agreement to acquire Sweply, an innovative digital platform.

Following the acquisition, Sweply will rebrand into Salla Ads becoming the official advertising solution within Salla’s ecosystem. This is a step towards their aim in integrating digital advertising with e-commerce, to offer merchants an intuitive and efficient way to reach their customers. 

Acquisition 

With the acquisition, Salla aims to reinforce its merchants with end-to-end solutions that simplify digital transformation for businesses, SMEs and entrepreneurs. Through combining advanced advertising technology with e-commerce tools, the platform aims to establish itself as a trusted advertising platform for online sellers in Saudi Arabia and beyond.

Salla Ads aims to enable merchants in launching, managing and optimizing their advertising campaigns directly from their store dashboards. Through their AI-powered targeting and advanced analytics, Salla’s platform aims to provide seamless campaign execution and real-time performance insights.  

The platform is integrated with merchant’s e-commerce stores in order to ensure precise audience targeting and streamlined ad management. This integration aims to allow businesses to enhance visibility, drive sales and scale efficiently within a competitive digital marketplace. Furthermore, it is expecting to release the new service by the second quarter of 2025 without disruption with previous existing users of Sweply.
