What happened? Saudi’s Impact46 invested over USD 6.7 million (SAR 25M) in five gaming studios as part of its SAR 150 million gaming fund. These studios include Fahy, NJD, Game Cooks, Starvania, and Alpaka.

The studios combine a diverse range of gaming innovation. This ranges from culturally grounded mobile gameplay to immersive console/PC experiences and next-generation hybrid-casual action games. Moreover, this investment aims to highlight the creative and technical depth emerging from MENA’s game development ecosystem.
Who are they? Based in Saudi, Impact46 is an innovation-driven, CMA-licensed asset management firm managing over SAR 2.8 billion in alternative investments. It aims to deliver institutional-grade investment products across venture capital, private credit, and capital markets.
Why does this matter? This announcement builds on the Impact46 portfolio in gaming as it follows its previous 2025 investments in Spoilz and Spekter Games. Spoliz is a mobile game studio developing engaging IPs. Meanwhile, Spekter Games is a next-gen studio bringing mobile games to chat-based super apps, blending traditional gameplay with Web3 incentive layers.
This is also in alignment with the Kingdom’s aim to foster its gaming and interactive gaming sectors. Additionally, it is in step with the National Gaming and Esports Strategy and Vision 2030’s push to diversify the economy and enable homegrown innovation
