Sequence Ventures is to invest EGP 150 million in 10 tech companies this year through its Deep-Tech fund. The fund is currently eyeing 22 startups with a goal to deploy EGP 12-17 million in 10 transactions.
The fund was launched in October, with a focus on acquiring companies operating in a range of tech sectors, including healthtech, FinTech, edtech, PropTech, logistics, and DevOps.
The Deep-Tech fund reached its first close of EGP 150 million and has received commitments from Misr Life, Misr Insurance, Export Development Bank and Attijariwafa.
