Six Egyptian companies are set to inject new investments worth USD 12.8 million (EGP 600 million) into the auto parts manufacturing sector by the end of 2026. According to Asharq, this aims to boost the local car industry and reduce reliance on imports.

These new investments come as Egypt prioritizes localizing car manufacturing. With this, the nation aims to reduce import dependence and ease pressure on foreign currency reserves. 

Investments

Pro International For Trading, a company specializing in producing and importing auto parts is allocating around USD 4.2 million (EGP 200M) to establish its second factory in Egypt next year. This is part of its plan to increase production capacity by 66.7%. 

El Watania for Auto Parts, a company specializing in importing auto parts, is allocating USD 4.2 million (EGP200M). This is to establish a car oil assembly plant in Egypt’s Alexandria industrial zone. With this, it aims to have an annual production capacity of one million bottles in its first year of operation.

Additionally, ElNour Company, specializing in importing and distributing automotive spare parts, is allocating USD 1.06 million (EGP 50M). This is to build a new factory to manufacture auto parts such as bumpers, grilles, body parts, and doors.

The factory intends to start operation in the first half of 2026. It also plans to increase the number of products to 200 and produce 150,000 pieces monthly. Additionally, it aims to export nearly 20% to foreign markets. 

Egyspring company, specializing in springs, wire and metal forum, is currently preparing a feasibility study to establish its 2nd factory. Furthermore, it is planning to allocate an initial investment of USD 1.06 million (EGP 50M).

United Motor Trade Co. Ltd, specializing in automotive accessories, is allocating USD 1.06 million (EGP 50M) in investments. This is to add two new production lines and build a new factory.SCL Company, specializing in car filters, intends to allocate an investment of USD 1.06 million (EGP 50M).  It plans to establish a new factory with an initial monthly capacity of 100,000 units.
