Orange Egypt announced the launch of an exclusive service for buying and selling gold digitally. This is in collaboration with the platform mnGm, through the My Orange app and direct payment via Orange Cash Wallet.
mnGm is an Egyptian online platform focused on enabling people to buy, sell, store, and deliver gold and silver in a simple, digital way.
The new service allows existing and new Orange customers to buy and sell gold starting from only EGP 5. Additionally, customers can earn cashback up to EGP 100 on their first purchase each month of EGP 500 or more. Furthermore, customers can use this cashback to pay phone bills, recharge credit, or renew bundles.
Digital Gold Service
The service will be a simplified digital pathway to complete gold buying and selling transactions anytime, anywhere. Through the My Orange app, customers can select the mnGm offer under “Cash Offers,” enter their Orange Cash Wallet PIN, upload a photo of their national ID, and accept the terms and conditions. After that, they choose the desired grams or gold package, and receive an SMS with the transaction details and purchase amount, before confirming payment through the wallet.
This comes amid fractional gold buying and digital payments represent a growing global trend. It is becoming increasingly popular as a smart solution for buying and selling in small amounts that suit various segments. By integrating payments with the Orange Cash Wallet, Orange provides its customers with a trusted digital payment platform. Thus, it aims to allow them to easily participate in the gold economy.
