The Lab Ventures

The Lab Ventures closes its second fund at approximately USD 33.8 million (AED 124M). The fund closed in July 2025, backed by Spain’s ICO (Instituto de Crédito Oficial). It was also backed by family offices, and entrepreneurs across Europe and the Gulf. This reflects the investors’s confidence in the firm’s hands-on approach to building category-leading companies.

The Lab Ventures is an operational VC with offices in Madrid and Dubai,  that launches companies from scratch or invests in early-stage ventures.It partners with founders, offering hands-on support in areas such as product, engineering, business development, and talent acquisition. 

B2B Support

Looking forward, it aims to accelerate B2B digitization across the MENA and European markets. This is with a particular focus on PropTech, HealthTech, and AI-enabled professional services. 

Additionally, the fund targets pre-seed and seed-stage companies digitizing underserved industries.This focus aligns with the UAE’s 2030’s digital transformation initiatives and enterprise technology adoption trends.

Beyond capital, it offers hands-on operational support and provides portfolio companies with product and engineering expertise. It also provides business development across Spain and MENA, and C-level recruitment through extensive networks, and cross-portfolio synergies.

The Lab Ventures has deployed capital across seven portfolio companies, including two flagship MENA investments. One of which is PropSpace, a real estate CRM platform acquired from Property Finder to drive innovation in PropTech. Another is Heale.io, a GCC-based HealthTech platform streamlining corporate health insurance by connecting companies and insurers directly.
