Udenz, a MENA dental platform and mobile app, has raised $150,000 in debit finance from Global Ventures UAE and angel investors to launch Smile Now Pay Later services for dentists and dental patients in UAE.
The new service was built in partnership with PostPay, a BNPL tech startup in UAE. In the first phase, a selected dental provider in UAE will accept these services at their dental clinics. The second phase will start after finalizing a new artificial intelligence recommendation tool that will empower dental patients’ decision on choosing dental plans.
“The new service will currently cover children dental treatment plans and basic cosmetic procedures for adults. Upon launching the new tool we will be able to avoid repeated offers from dental clinics at the same location and empower patients’ decisions,” Fatema Revat, General Manager of Udenz, said.
Udenz has raised a total of $450,000, it was founded in 2016 by Hisham Safadi. Udenz has over 4000 registered dentists in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt among other Arab countries. In 2021, Udenz launched an e-commerce platform for dental hygiene products featuring innovative products provided by Sharaf DG and IKO by the Italian based Melo Labs.
UDENZ had recently published their new dental application at Apple and Google Play store featuring its artificial intelligence shout feature for dental patients.
