The UAE-based Zero Carbon Ventures announced it raised $5 million in seed funding from Emirati businessman and Dubai ruling family member Sheikh Ahmed bin Mana bin Khalifa Al Maktoum, according to a company’s statement.
The company’s goal is to bring carbon-reducing technologies to the MENA region.
The company, which has offices in Masdar City and Abu Dhabi Global Markets, investing in utilizing technology to reduce pollution across waste, water, energy, and material.
The funding will help the company in delivering decarbonization projects and bo its efforts toward global sustainability initiatives on a wider scale, according to the company
