What happened? UAE-based proptech, Coraly.ai, secured USD 2 million in a pre-seed funding round. The round was led by Salica Oryx Fund with participation from EQ2 Ventures.

“AI is set to leapfrog productivity in real estate, and Coraly.ai combines deep technical expertise with a clear understanding of market challenges to capture this global opportunity,” said Patrick Thiriet, CEO of EQ2 Ventures.

What is next? With the newly acquired funding, the proptech aims to accelerate product development and enhance AI capabilities. It also aims to support expansion into Saudi Arabia, France and the United States. Moreover, it seeks to reinforce the company’s leadership in the UAE while building solid commercial infrastructure for long term growth.

This funding gives us the power to accelerate product innovation and expand into key growth markets, starting from the GCC and expanding globally,” said Fouad Bekkar, Founder and CEO of Coraly.ai.

Who are they? Coraly is a cloud-based provider of AI models, specifically built for the real estate industry. It is serves its models via both APIs and through a seamless platform.

Salica Oryx Fund is a MENA-focused early-stage investment vehicle managed by Salica Investments. Meanwhile, EQ2 Ventures is a dubai-based evergreen investment company that invests in seed to series B stage startups.
