  • Eat App raised USD 10M in a Series B extension, backed by PSG Equity via Zenchef, to scale its restaurant reservation and CRM platform.
  • India is now Eat App’s key growth market, serving 2,000+ restaurants as the country’s food service sector heads toward USD 85B by 2028.
  • To deepen its India push, Eat App acquired ReserveGo in mid-2025 and partnered with Swiggy to launch the GroMax solution.

Eat App

UAE-based restaurant and guest management platform Eat App raised USD 10 million in a Series B extension round. The round was led by PSG Equity through its portfolio company Zenchef SAS

Founded in 2015 by Nezar Kadhem and David Feuillard, EatApp is a restaurant and guest management platform. It aims to eliminate pen-and-paper bookings and disconnected guest data. It seeks to unite an intuitive, cloud-based platform with reservations, table management, and guest CRM in one place.

Expansion

The platform operates in over 92 countries, serving more than 5 thousand restaurants. However, looking forward, India is becoming a central focus for the startup as it has served over 2 thousand restaurants in the country.

India’s food service industry is projected to reach over USD 85 billion by 2028. Thus, making the country an attractive destination for the startup. Before its India expansion, the UAE was its biggest market, followed by the U.S., the U.K., and Saudi Arabia. In India, restaurants face the challenge of attracting customers using different channels and then combining those reservations in one place.

To aid its mission, in mid-2025, it acquired ReserveGo, an India-based reservations and table management software. It also partnered with a recently listed food and grocery platform, Swiggy, to upsell its restaurant product.

Swiggy and Eat App partnered together to foster a solution to aid restaurants in scaling their business. They developed a solution called ‘GroMax’ for India, which includes the ability to promote restaurants on Meta and Swiggy.
