What happened? UAE investment firm, EightClouds, secured its targeted USD 20 million capital raise. The raise was originally structured for 24 months but instead completed in 11 months.
Who are they? EIGHTClouds is a boutique alternative investment firm aiming to transform capital into prosperity for businesses, communities, and investors.
Recently, the firm has been focusing its activity within the food, beverage and hospitality sector. This is because it believes that these sectors contain evolving customer preferences, digital innovation, and operational scale.

What is next? With the newly acquired capital, the firm intends to move forward with a series of acquisitions. Furthermore, this in support of its vision to support category defining companies across the GCC and beyond.
Additionally, it is preparing for a new series of sector-focused investment initiatives with Cayman-based structures. This is to deepen their exposure to the consumer sector.
