Tkyr, a Saudi digital platform for food delivery, secured a US$ 4 million fund in a Pre-series A round by a number of Saudi companies in food and beverages sector including Food Square, Etihad AlKhaledia, Haif and Mateen.

The Saudi startup was launched in 2021 offering a platform and an application through which clients can order online from different restaurants.

Tkyr is currently operating in Riyadh with a network of 1,500 outlets and more than 200 delivery representatives, seeking to expand in other Saudi cities during the second half of 2023.

Khaled Al-Qariwi, co-founder of Tkyr, told news portal Jawlah: “The food and beverage service market sector in Saudi Arabia is considered one of the main sectors in the region. The market size is US$19.97 billion, and it is expected that to hit US$24.7 billion by 2025.
