What’s different about this feature? What differentiates it is that the conversation can continue even once you exit WhatsApp. So even when the user switches apps, they can still continue the call which allows for a handsfree and seamless interaction with Meta AI. Moreover, this will enable users to multitask while using the voice call feature.
Users will be able to use the microphone whenever needed and can switch between voice and text easily.
Voice Communication
What is the benefit? This will be of aid to those who prefer voice communication over typing. It will also be useful to those with visual impairments. Furthermore, the multitasking ability will allow users who need an AI assistant to have a useful call without stopping their tasks.
What about privacy concerns? dIn terms of privacy, built-in privacy indicators will notify users whenever their microphone is still active. These indicators are usually managed by the operation system, thus the app will not be able to intercept or modify its behavior. Thus, users will always be aware when audio is being accessed.
