Elaraby Group announced the end of all industrial and commercial contracts with Toshiba Home Appliances by the end of 2025.
In his speech, Eng, Mohamed El-Araby, CEO of Elaraby Group, explained that the conclusion of the contracts with Toshiba comes as part of the natural evolution of the business world and the restructuring of international partnerships. He also emphasizes that the group remains fully committed to providing after-sales services for all products sold under the Elaraby warranty.
Investments and Partnerships
The group revealed investments and partnerships nearing USD 500 million in the manufacturing of home appliances, electronics, and their components. This is in collaboration with global companies such as Japan’s Sharp and Hitachi, and Italy’s
La Germania and Hoover as well as China’s TCL. This, in addition to El Araby’s own brands such as Egypt’s Tornado, Japan’s Kagito, and Germany’s Heller.
Additionally, the group has formed partnerships in the supply industries with companies including:
- Richell (Taiwan), one of the world’s largest switch manufacturers
- Toyotchi (Japan) for glass manufacturing of all types
- Shin Steel (Korea) for sheet metal cutting and processing
- Nex (Korea) for refrigerator and home freezer evaporators
- Core for manufacturing and assembling washing machine motors
These partnerships aim to target both the domestic and global markets with competitive products. This includes plans to launch Elaraby products in multiple international markets, including Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
