Qatar-based logistics technology startup ShipBee raised USD 500 thousand in a seed funding round led by GrowthX Capital.

Founded in March 2024 by Tamer Raafat and Amer Azani, ShipBee is a logistics technology startup. It provides an ​​AI-powered digital logistics ecosystem to streamline shipping and delivery for businesses and consumers

The startup offers a unified platform for both local and international logistics. Furthermore, it includes a marketplace, user and driver apps, and SaaS solutions for businesses managing shipping operations. Registered in Qatar Free Zones, the startup seeks to transform logistics in the GCC and MENA region.

It also offers dedicated mobile applications for both customers and drivers. These apps allow shipments to be booked, tracked, and managed digitally.

Logistics 

Beyond the marketplace, the startup provides Software-as-a-Service tools designed for companies handling logistics operations. These tools help businesses coordinate shipments, manage delivery flows, and improve operational efficiency.

The startup has partnerships with several major logistics and technology players. These include Qatar Post, global logistics firm DHL, and Chinese AI logistics company NEXX.It also works with a network of local service providers and retail partners across the logistics ecosystem.

Looking ahead, with the newly raised capital, it aims to accelerate its next phase of growth. It also seeks to further develop its technology infrastructure and expand its team.

The company is also exploring deeper integration of AI tools into its logistics platform. These technologies could help automate processes, optimize delivery routes, and improve overall efficiency.
