Cuemath expands to Oman

Cuemath, the one-on-one personalised math learning platform backed by Google, announces its expansion into Oman.

Cuemath is now present in four Gulf region countries; the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Oman. This exciting expansion follows Cuemath’s growth in the UAE, where its subscriber base has grown 600% to over 180,000 customers since June 2021.

As with Cuemath’s rapid, regional and global expansion, the catalyst for its expansion into Oman has been organic, word-of-mouth amongst consumers.

Sultan Haitham bin Tarik’s ‘Vision 2040’ – the national, long-term plan to create a diversified, sustainable economy, and provide good employment opportunities for all – prioritizes technical and entrepreneurial capabilities, youth and education. All these areas complement the math and problem-solving skills that Cuemath teaches in an interactive way.

“We are growing rapidly in the Middle East and are delighted to expand into Oman. Under His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik, Oman has implemented great reforms to promote investment in, and diversify its economy. The jobs of the 21st century will increasingly have math skills at their core, so this is a perfect time for Cuemath to enter the Omani market,” Vivek Sunder, CEO of Cuemath, commented.

The Middle East’s EdTech is growing rapidly. Independent research by The Insight Partners – the international research consultancy – forecasts the MEA EdTech market to grow to $7.6 billion by 2027 – a doubling in size from 2019. Market drivers include a high focus on education, rising young populations, and the rising trend of digitalization in education sector.

Cuemath has grown its global market presence to over 50 countries, including the United Kingdom, United States, Singapore, Canada, UAE, Egypt, Nigeria, India and Thailand. The program is led by over 10,000 teachers from various professional backgrounds.
