Beyooot, furniture e-commerce startup, launches in Egypt with a plan to invest EGP 5 million

Beyooot, furniture ecommerce start-up, launches in Egypt with a EGP 5m capital.

The furnishing platform uses augmented reality (AR) technology to allow customers to review the pieces before completing the purchase, providing them with a unique purchasing experience. To further facilitate the process, Beyooot uses an integrated e-commerce system, where all products can be accessed through both a website (www.beyooot.com) and an application for both Android and IOS systems.

With an objective of amplifying Egyptian products exposure and allowing Egyptian manufactures to tap into new markets, Beyooot has contracted with 30 Egyptian furniture manufacturing factories and workshops, with an aim to increase this number to 100 factories by the end of June and to 1000 factories by end of 2022, according to CEO & co-partner of Beyooot: Hussain Talaat.

Beyooot is now ready to export their products to foreign countries, targeting the gulf (GCG) markets in specific, aligning with the latest figures where Egypt ranked as the first country in terms of furnishing exports to the Saudi market through 2017.

Inititally, it will be targeting Saudi Arabia and UAE, with expansion plans for other GCC markets by the end of 2022.

“We have logistic support services in Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries. We are all set in terms of logistics and we have the qualified experiences to move on,” said Talaat.
