Binance has appointed Henrique Meirelles, former President of the Brazilian Central Bank and Economy Minister, to its advisory board.
Meirelles previously served as the president of Brazil’s Central Bank from 2003 to 2011 and as economy minister from 2016 to 2018. His background on policy and regulation will be a valuable addition to the board as Binance attempts to enter an increasingly regulated economic landscape.
