Egyptian fresh bread and grocery delivery platform, Breadfast, announced the soft launch of Breadfast Now, the first native cloud supermarket in Africa and the Middle East.
Breadfast has raised an undisclosed seven-figure sum (USD) in a pre-Series B investment. The investors included high profile figures including Y Combinator’s founder, Paul Graham, Gmail’s founder, Paul Buchheit, Endure Capital, and Shorooq Partners.

Mostafa Amin, Muhammad Habib and Abdallah Nofal founded Breadfast in 2017. The online bakery delivers fresh baked goods every morning to customers’ doorsteps. The goods are baked on the same day as the delivery to guarantee fresh products for their clients. It also delivers milk, juice and eggs as part of its aim to become a one-stop-shop for breakfast deliveries.
The startup plans to expand within the next 3 years across Middle East, Africa and Turkey, starting with Dubai, Riyadh and Jeddah.
